I’m Aaron — a Licensed Massage Therapist based in the Ann Arbor area, and the practitioner behind Golden Crane Massage Therapy & Energy Work.
My path into bodywork came from a simple observation: how rare it is, in our day-to-day lives, to be touched with full attention and no agenda. A good massage is more than the sum of its techniques — it’s an hour where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold yourself together. That’s what I try to offer in every session.
How I Work
I trained in several traditions and I draw from all of them, depending on what your body is asking for that day. A session might begin with broad, flowing strokes to settle the nervous system, move into focused myofascial work where tension is locked in, and end with a few minutes of polarity therapy to help everything integrate. Other sessions stay close to one modality the whole way through. We’ll talk before we begin so you know what to expect.
